The date of manufacture of this early Wi-Door saloon was late 1928 and first
registration in February 1929.
Purchased in 1978 and carefully restored to the original factory spec. over the next
12 years. On SORN for a number of years, then used for local car rallies.
The Vinyl is black - the interior is fawn Bedford Cord, which back then was £27.50 per metre!
The windows have the correct sliding sideways and the up / down movement.
Body is A7 - 7517
Engine No is 78263 stripped and rebuilt
Chassis No. is 75798
The petrol gauge is a calibrated wood dipper.
The engine is one of the first Coil ignition.
Original crash 3 speed gearbox
The starter is the original bacon Slicer type.
New battery.
Quite a number of spares and literature available.
